Commission on Veterans and Military Families

Maryland Commission on Veterans and Military Families (established 2024)

Requires the Department of Veterans and Military Families to convene a commission to develop a statewide strategic plan to make Maryland the best state for veterans and military families.  The legislation took effect June 1 and requires the commission to submit a report on findings to the Governor and General Assembly by December 1, 2024.
