The goal of the networking events will be to allow Operation Hire Maryland participants, and employers interested in participating, to hear from leading veteran recruiters on best practices as well as to network. Additionally, employers who are leading the program in veteran hires in that specific region will be recognized.
Stay tuned…..our next employer networking meeting is tentatively scheduled for early December 2016. This meeting will have an emphasis on practical applications to recruit and retain veterans. We will talk about how to engage veterans at a job fair, interview veterans to bring out their individual success stories, and how to involve your current veteran employees to recruit new staff!
