The Maryland Veterans Trust Fund
The Maryland Veterans Trust Fund is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and a core program of the Maryland Department of Veterans and Military Families. The Trust Fund provides one-time grant awards to help veterans, military families, Gold Star parents, spouses, and members of the Maryland National Guard overcome financial hardships. Individuals who do not fall within these categories may request a waiver for consideration during the intake process. The fund is governed by a Board of Trustees and chaired by the Secretary of the Maryland Department of Military Families. The program is funded through donations from community partners, individuals, and other mandated state revenue partners.

This pause allows us to responsibly manage demand and continue serving Maryland veterans and military families experiencing financial hardship.
