COL John Lombardi, U.S. Army, Retired, serves as the state Veterans Home Program Director where he oversees the Charlotte Hall Veterans home. He brings a wealth of experience and a compassionate heart for veterans.

He most recently served as president and interim CEO of Knollwood, a 300-bed continuing care retirement community for veterans in Washington, D.C. Col. Lombardi spent nearly 30 years in the US Army, of which 23 years were in the Medical Service Corps occupying various leadership roles in healthcare administration.

His extensive leadership experience in military, healthcare, and long term care settings serves Maryland’s veterans well every day.
