National Military Appreciation Month is observed each May to honor and recognize the contributions and sacrifices of those who serve or have served in the U.S. Uniformed Services. The United States Congress designated May as this month in 1999.
The Department of Veterans and Military Families is honored to show our gratitude and appreciation every day for service members, veterans, and their families, and especially in May.
